Mindframe marked the end of LGBTI monthon Wednesday night by welcoming educators and special guests from across Australia to the Mindframe Journalism and Public Relations Educators’ advisory group dinner event.

MEDIA ALERT: Launch of Mindframe media resources and hashtag campaign - 26 March 2014

The Mindframe National Media Initiative officially launches its updated resources for media professionals reporting suicide and mental illness next Tuesday, 1st April. 

To coincide with the launch, Mindframe is encouraging grassroots media engagement via a hashtag campaign - #MindframeMedia -  in which media and those who work with the media can write a few words in support of their new resources via Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. 


The Mindframe Journalism and Public Relations Educators’ advisory group dinner - 24 March 2014

The Mindframe Journalism and Public Relations Educators’ advisory group dinner event and annual meeting will take place this week.

The evening event on Wednesday (26 March) will be hosted by the Hunter Institute of Mental Health Director Jaelea Skehan and coincides with national LGBTI month. 


Reports released for Close the Gap day - 20 March 2014

Today the Hunter Institute of Mental Health released three reports detailing the views and needs of Aboriginal people when discussing suicide as ongoing consultation with Aboriginal communities and as part of Close the Gap day.
